2. Perform Basic Maintenance

  • Make sure the tank is full with premium fuel, this is helpful in preventing condensation. Any possibility that moisture forms in the lines or tank will be significantly reduced as well as ensuring seals are safeguarded from drying out.
  • Add fuel stabilizer for preventing gasoline breakdown, damage to the engine and fuel lines.
  • Removal of the car battery is useful in inhibiting the battery from discharging and corroding your car.
  • Inflate the tires to about 35 psi, for enabling better handling of the car weight during storage and preventing flat spot formation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our customer service is equally as important as our facility. That is why we aim to educate and over deliver in every aspect our business. Below are a few frequently asked questions when deciding on a vehicle storage facility.

Can You Store A Car In A Storage Unit?

Yes, our storage units provide an excellent option for storing your car or any other vehicle type like RV's, trucks, motorcycles or even ATV's.

As a car owner, you may want to use our self-storage facility for different reasons, for example:

  1. Cars occupy a lot of space, so instead of maneuvering around your car in the garage, you can gain back some extra space and use it as a spare bedroom, workshop, man cave or even a home office.
  2. Our car storage unit is a great solution if requiring a safe, secure place while you're travelling and away from home.
  3. If you don't drive your car in the winter, our indoor vehicle storage is a great option to keep your car out of the harsh elements of winter.

How Much Does It Cost To Keep A Car In Storage?

The cost to store your vehicle is almost the same amount as the cost to fill the gas tank in a month.

Prices vary depending on if you need an indoor space vs an outdoor space and the size of the storage unit. We offer competitive rates and a variety of options to suite all our customer's needs.

Can A Car Fit In A 10x15 Storage Unit Section?

In short, yes. A 10x15 (150 Sq.Ft.) storage unit is roughly the equivalent to a single car garage. That space can house a two bedroom apartment, a standard garage (and car), or even a small townhome. Many customers are normally not too sure about the size of the storage unit that is needed. We always recommend that you consult with us in order to assist in choosing the best unit to suit your needs.

Do We Allow Working On A Vehicle While In Storage?

No, we prohibit our customers from working on their vehicles while in the storage unit. Put simply, when working on a car on-site there is usually fluid and oil spill issues. Factors like odors, smoke, and noise affect our other customers. For all car maintenance, we recommend that you do that off-site before using our vehicle storage units.

What do You Require From Me to Put My Car in Storage

To use any of our vehicle storage facilities, we require the following:

  1. Your vehicle must either be on a trailer or in working condition.
